Front line Engineer required for dynamic, pro-development company based in Bedfordview.
Fantastic opportunity for Technician looking for career growth and who is eager to learn.
Experience:
- A+/N+
- Minimum 2 years experience within an IT support role
- Mail Marshall experience (1 Year Minimum - not a requirement but advantageous if they do have this)
- HP Product Knowledge on the setup and configuration of HP notebooks, desktops, printers
- HP Server knowledge and skill advantageous
- Good troubleshooting skills
People skills:
- Must be customer centric
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, and to adjust communication when needed
- Ability to think laterally and quickly
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow
Duties include:
•Daily Backups
•Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System Monitoring
•Assist with clients who have logged queries
•Attending to faults and failures and brought to the attention of the relevant onsite resource
•Release requests within the Mail Marshall System
•Customer Requests/Incident Logging and Analysis
•Perform frist line support
•Basic Hardware and Software troubleshooting
•Mail Marshall/Gateway Release Notifications
•Printer Setup and Connectivity Troubleshooting
•Operating System analysis
•Virus Intrusion Analysis and Removal
•HP and APC Warranty Logs
•Warranty Follow Up calls and Escalations where necessary
•Assist with Server Testing and relevant HP Warranty Calls
•Follow up with client / client satisfaction
•Equipment configuration and setup: both new and secondary equipment such as Notebooks, Thin Clients, PC's, Towers, Printers etc...
•This includes downgrades to the XP Operating System from Vista, and the installation of necessary software such as Microsoft Office and Anti-Virus
